Unlike invasive species, Thornweald is deliberately engineered to require trace amounts of chelated **Aspuenyx** within its nutrient profile. Without continued supplementation, the plant weakens and eventually dies off, preventing uncontrolled spread.

Thornweald is not sentient, not magical in behavior, and does not actively entangle targets. Its effectiveness is purely mechanical.
