Overview

The Hawk No. 1, usually shortened to the Hawk, is the Royal Emberstone Air Force’s standard single-seat fighter during the Industrial War.

The Hawk is an aluminum-skinned light-frame biplane built for close-front interception, escort, patrol, and local air superiority. It is not designed around long-range independent operations or romantic lone-pilot duelling. Its strength is that it is stable, reliable, survivable, and unusually pleasant to fly for its period.</description>
