Very little is known about the Matron of House De’Endar who preceded Larynda. Her true name is lost to time—a ghost in the records of a house that rarely documents the dead unless it benefits the living.

She died not in battle or assassination, but by natural causes—a rarity in Felynafay, and one of the few details that separates her from the typical end of a Matron Mother. Her passing left a power vacuum that her daughter, Larynda, wasted no time in filling—using the Barra D’aron to eliminate her sisters and claim the throne.

What little remains of her legacy exists only in rumors: that she ruled more quietly than her daughter, that her influence came from subtlety rather than spectacle. She bore multiple daughters, all of whom were eventually killed by Larynda.

Even Masdrin, her grandson, knows almost nothing about her. To him, she is little more than a gravestone at the back of the compound.

If she left behind records, they were destroyed. If she had ambitions, they died with her name. What endures is the bloodline she helped create—a line that now claims kings and controls empires, even if its beginning is buried in silence.
